Aircraft Spins Uncontrollably into Palm Trees at Well-Known Southern California Coast
An aircraft soaring near a popular California beach unexpectedly commenced twirling wildly, finally descending rapidly and plunging into a cluster of palm trees as onlookers looked on.
Footage posted on social media capture the helicopter commencing to spiral near the beach then falling towards the edge of the beach, where it ends up lodged among palms and a steps close to the coastal road.
Emergency Response Details
The Huntington Beach fire department said five individuals were taken to hospital comprising a pair who were in the aircraft and were “extracted safely from the crash site” following the incident on Saturday.
Three individuals on the road were injured. Information on their condition were still under review.
The cause of the crash was not yet disclosed.
